ELECTRICAL FAULT

Electrical fault is an abnormal condition.

Due to human errors, & Environmental

conditions.

Causes by equipment failures.

TYPES OF FAULTS

FAULT PROTECTION DEVICE1) AFCI

Offer protection against arc fault.

AFCI should be tested each month.

Give 50% protection against arc faults.

2) GFCI (GROUND FAULT CIRCUIT INTERRUPTER)

Protect against burn electric shocks.

47% of shocks prevent the GFCI.

3) CIRCUIT BREAKER

EFFECT OF ELECTRICAL FAULTSOVER CURRENT FLOW.
