Introduction We don’t know about battery is charged or discharged.

One common method is using voltmeter.

But here we have developed this battery monitor circuit to test the battery charging status.

Concept

Useing op amp which can be configured in many modes like comparator, amplifier, inverting mode, non- inverting mode, etc.

Inverting point fixed with veriable resistor.

The testing battry’s possetiveterminal connected as input in the non-inverting point.

Equipments

Op-Amp (LM324)

Resistors (1K -8, 100K, 27K)

Variable Resistor (10K)

Capacitor (100 nf -2)

LED (5)

Low in cost.

Simple ckt.

Parts are cheap and easy to get.

Easy and useful for monitoring battery voltage.
