Once you’ve created your cloud you can play around with colour and style.

Wordle clouds are good on board at the start of lesson to provoke discussion or to highlight important points or for anything you want themto be!

Bringing Conjugation Back and Cry Me a Verb – fantastic resource for Spanish verbs

French orals – Ade Edmundson and Graham Norton (and others) – give pupils speaking criteria and get them to grade the performances,get them to give them 2 stars and a wish, what can they learn from these performances?

Search for specific grammar points in the appropriate language ie Prepositions

Introduce classes to the classics ie Edith Piaf in French

Or look for something more modern ie Girls Aloud Je ne parle pas français in French or look for songs relevant to particular topics ie Diam’s Ma France à moi or Marly Gaumont by Kamini both good for talking about where you live, classes could then do Mon Ecosse à moi

How about the more unusual? Schlag mich Baby noch einmal by the Wise Guys or Stefan Remmler’s Alles hat ein Ende nur die Wurst hat zwei

In French sing along to Dansez avec Igor, les cornichons and Jean Petit qui danse

Look out for star turns – try looking for interviews with Mika in French

Other useful things – the Torres Nike ad, “Ken Lee” – surely a skills lesson in there somewhere!
