Who am I?

Who am I?

Where did I come from?

Why am I here?

Where am I leading?

Are we created just to eat, drink and enjoy

ourselves?

Have we ever wonder about the reason

for our existence?

Have we ever wonder about what will

happen to us at the end?

As one poet says;

I do not know whence I have come

I saw my feet walking on the road

as they please I go and stop

What am I doing here?

How did the road find me?

I do not know! I do not know!

I do not know!

Indeed Many of Us are

in the Same Track !!!

What Islam Says About

… Me ?

… My Creation ?

… My Existence ?

“Allah is the creator of all things, and He is

the guardian over all things”

[Glorious Qur’an –39:62]

He Created Everything !!!

“O Mankind!, be dutiful to your Lord, Who

created you from a single person, and from him

He created his wife, and from them both He

created many men and women”

[Glorious Qur’an –4 : 1]

Further He says;

“O mankind! We have created you from a male

and a female, and made you into nations

and tribes, that you may know one another.

Verily, the most honourable of you with

Allah is that who has

At – Taqwa [righteousness /God consciousness]”

[Glorious Qur’an –49 : 13]

“Did you think that We had created you in play

and that you would not be brought back to us?”

[Glorious Qur’an – 23 : 115]

Now ! Allah is questioning us…

“Does the man think that he will be left

neglected”[Glorious Qur’an – 75 : 36]

Further He says…

Indeed, Allah has created human being for a purpose…

So, what is the purpose ?

“And I (Allah) created not the jinn and mankind

except that they should worship Me”

[Glorious Qur’an – 51 : 56]

He reminds us about the

covenant that we gave to

Him !!!

Allah says…

And remember when your lord brought forth from the children of

Adam their descendant and make them testify concerning themselves

[saying]: “Am I not your Lord?” they said, “Yes, we testify to it”

[this] in case you say on the Day of Judgment, “We were unaware of

this”. Or in case you should say, “ it was our ancestors who made

partners [with Allah] and we are only their descendants. Will

you then destroy us for what those liars did?”

[Glorious Qur’an – 7 : 172-173]

So it is our duty to submit and surrender our will

to the will of Allah

regardless of what other people do!!!

This submission and surrender will make us as

Muslims

What is so special about

being a Muslim ?

Allah says;

“And thus We have made you a just/median

community that you will be witnesses over the

people and the messenger will be a witness over

you”

[Glorious Qur’an – 2 : 143]

Allah (SWT) calls us as a Just/Median

community

This is a title

This title is given to us with a noble job

If we don’t do the job, we are not worthy enough to

carry the title

• Allah say we are witnesses over the people

What kind of a witness it is?

That means; people living around us

should witness that this is the correct

way of life by looking at our behaviour

This title and the job will be carried

until the day of resurrection

The Prophet Muhammad (pbuh)

said;

Narrated Abu Sa`id: Allah's Apostle said, "Noah and his nation will

come (on the Day of Resurrection and Allah will ask (Noah), "'Did

you convey (the Message)?” He will reply, “Yes, O my Lord! ”

Then Allah will ask Noah's nation, “Did Noah convey My

Message to you? ” They will reply, “No, no prophet came to us”

Then Allah will ask Noah, “Who will stand a witness for you? ”

He will reply, “Muhammad and his followers (will stand witness

for me)” So, I and my followers will stand as witnesses for him

(that he conveyed Allah's Message). That is, (the interpretation)

of the Statement of Allah: "Thus we have made you a just and the

best nation that you might be witnesses Over mankind ..“ (2.143)

{Sahih al-Bukhari, Vol 6, Hadeeth no 14}

Are we really doing the Job?

We can not do our best in our

responsibility until we realize the

truth, learn it and put it to practice

completely

For the perfection

Allah (SWT) says…

“O you who believe! Enter in to Islam

perfectly”

[Glorious Qur’an – 2: 208]

Therefore we have to follow Islam

completely

We have to enjoin good and forbid evil in

the society

The greatest evil is the worship of gods

beside the true creator; Allah (SWT)

So it is our duty to help the people realize

the TRUE GOD !!!

Allah (SWT) says;

“You are the best of people ever raised up for

mankind; you enjoin good and forbid evil and

you believe in Allah”

[Glorious Qur’an – 3 : 110]

We have been created by Allah (SWT)

To submit our will to the Will of Allah

To obey His commands

To worship Him alone

To be a witness for the people around us

To enjoin good and forbid evil !!!

I have come to this world with a

PURPOSE

I’m leading my life with a GOAL

My path is CLEAR

Now I’m walking through it with a

HOPE !!!
