What is Proxy Access?Proxy Access allows a student to authorize access for a proxy, to designated Self-Service Banner pages.

• Parents, legal guardian, employer, etc.• Student schedules, grades, emergency contacts, etc.

Note: Students are not required to authorize proxies.

Banner System Requirements

• Banner General 8.5 or greater• Banner Student 8.2 or greater• Banner Web General 8.5 or greater• Web Tailor 8.5 or greater

Banner SecurityProxy Access forms are delivered in security class BAN_PROXY_ACCESS_C.

Important Notes for Setup

As soon as student begins proxy setup process, emails are generated.

• First email contains an Action Link and temporary Action Password to establish initial login access. Link is only good for access one time.

• Second email contains the link to the proxy login page for all subsequent login attempts.
