check that you know the correct pronunciation of any difficult names or titles;

ensure the Timekeepers have timing sheets and understand their role;

communication; Red light will remain on until speech conclusion;

Evaluation : 2:00. 2:30 & 3:00 minutes Disqualification: less than 1:30 or More than 3:30 mts

Intl & Humorous 5, 6 and 7 minutes Disqualification: less than 4 minutes 30 seconds or more

than 7 minutes 30 seconds Table Topic: 1:00, 1:30 and 2:00 minutes

Disqualification: less than 1 minutes or more than 2 minutes 30 seconds

Evaluation Contest Introduce the SPEECH TO BE EVALUATED (NO MANUAL OR

STATUS) CONTESTANTS ARE ALLOWED TO TAKE NOTES Afterwards, ask all contestants to leave the room for 5

minutes to study their notes Ask a timer to signal 3, 4, 5 minutes Introduce an activity to fill the 5 minutes Call in and introduce each evaluator without comment 1 minute silence after each evaluation Collect communication equipments from contestants

Table Topic ContestFor Table topics, at least 3 topics prepared

by Contest Chair or Chief Judge

Seal the topics for confidentiality

Pick 1 topic before contest

March out the contestants except No:1 and call in 1 by one.

Collect communication equipments from contestants

Closing Give to each Contestant a ‘Certificate Of

Participation’. Announce winners in reverse order* and give

them their Certificates and trophies. Congratulate the Contestants who were not

placed and thank all those who helped. * Winners announced are:

if 5 or more Contestants: 3rd, 2nd and 1st places if 4 or less Contestants: 2nd and 1st places

After Final Speech1 minute (or longer if required)

ask Counters to collect voting slips & timesheets;

ask Counters and Chief Judge to leave the room to count the votes.

Organize a Table Topic type activity for the audience to fill the

gap.
