Starting a Project in Art / Referencing a Work of Visual Art

What do I do after I’ve signed in?

Once you login, you will go to your project page. Here you will click on ‘New Project’ if you want to start a new project and works cited list.

Click here

Click on + New Project

Give Your Project a title.

Choose your style? It’s already chosen for you!

In grades 6-10, it’s MLA.

Citation level?

For upper school, choose

Advanced!

And then submit

You have found a work of visual art on a website. Now how do you reference that?

Click on the link which interests you

Decided on this one?

Now let’s do the referencing!

Find Your Project in Noodletools

Here it is! Now open it by clicking on the project title!

You are now at your dashboard and ready to start!

Click on Sources to

start Referencing

Next Click on ‘Create new citation’

Next, you need to choose your source type!

It’s aWork of Visual Art

And now, to fill in the form!

What’s the name of the website?

Check the site!

And here it is!

Now to fill in the form!

What’s the name of the website?

That’s at the bottom of the page

Is it the same as the website name? Yes? Then you don’t need to include it!
