The Research.....

As Rip Curl says... live the search... Begun with Yong Zhao in 2012.... Yong and a need for change..

Yong unearthed this notion of World Class Learners- Educating Creative and Entrepreneurial Students.

“The redefinition of entrepreneurship. The world Economic Forum defines entrepreneurship as:

‘a process that results in creativity, innovation and growth. Innovative entrepreneurs come in all shapes and forms; its benefits are not limited to start ups, innovative ventures or new jobs. Entrepreneurship refers to an individual’s ability to turn ideas into action and is therefore a key competence for all, helping young people to be more creative and self confident in whatever they undertake.’ (World Economic Forum, 2009, p.9).

Problems as opportunities, strengths and weaknesses, perseverance and Disciplined Creativity.

• Design Principles- personalization, adult world connection, and common intellectual mission, teacher as designer.

• Protocols and Norms for tuning learning and creative problem solving.

• Learning- Work that matters... Student as leaders in their own learning.
