Water Consumption & Re-use
• Central park canal uses seawater instead of fresh water, saving thousands of liters of potable water per day
• Potable water use will target a 90% reduction versus international baseline (re-use of treated greywater from a city-wide central system).
• Potable water consumption in plumbing fixtures will target a 20-40% reduction based on the use type of the project.
• Storm water runoff will be reused
• Vegetated green roofs will reduce storm water runoff, and mitigate the urban heat island effect
