Creating

Titles/Credits

To create an opening title I added in a title and saved it so I was able to add this to my video

I then changed the words and style to match my video. I used the settings to make sure this was in the centre of the screen, therefore looking professional.

Fade

In/Out

To fade my titles in I added the titles with a cross dissolve at the beginning therefore it smoothly dissolved in and came in with the music

Brightness

and Contrast

Initially I added the effect of brightness and contrast because I felt my clip was to dull therefore I wanted to make it brighter and happier to match the music.

I then changed the brightness and contrast, making sure it didn’t look to fake.

To add dissolves I added in 2 pieces of video footage therefore I was able to add a dissolve in between them.

I then added to dissolve transition so it merged across both pieces of footage. To get a softer effect I then extended the amount of dissolve to make it smoother.
