SHORT PRESENTATION

What does « Overfishing » mean ?

To fish to such a degree as to upset the ecological balance or cause depletion of living creatures.

Sharks are especially fished for their fins usually used for make gastronomic soup.

Because some sharks are situated at the top of the food chain, this overfishing has led to the upset of entire marine ecosystems.

I have chosen this theme in order to raise people’s awareness about this worried issue and give them regular news about this fact.
