Solids
SOLIDS ARE DIFFERENT TO LIQUIDS AND
GASES AS THERE PARTICLES ARE
SQUASHED TOGETHER SO
THEY MAINTAIN THERE
STRUCTURE.
SOME SOLIDS CAN BE CHANGED LIKE
A CHOCOLATE BAR CAN BE MELTED AND
THEN IS CLASSIFIED AS A
LIQUID.
SOLIDS WILL NOT CHANGE BY THEM SELFS. THEY WILL ONLY CHANGE IF SOMETHING IS DONE TO THE
SOLID.
HERE IS SOME EXAMPLES
GASES BY TEAM SNAPE
This is a liquid that has evaporating because it is to warm.
Gas is everywhere. There is something called the atmosphere. That's a big layer of gas that surrounds the Earth.
Solid liquid Gas
Particles
The difference between solid, liquid and gases is the space of the container.
Gas
Gas is in the air all around us. It is a mixture of several different gases, mainly nitrogen and oxygen. Natural gas comes from the ground. It burns easily (flammable).
Liquid
Some liquids can be turn into a solid. The surface of a liquid in a container stays level.
One feature of a liquid is that it will fill up the shape of a container. The top part of the liquid is usually flat .
Liquid fills from the bottom because of gravity.
