It’s a city of sensations. Its urban coast, the bay, the parks, shops, the river, the international cultural festivals and…, of course, its excellent gastronomy. All this make San sebastian a city of love.

A few steps from everything

San sebastian is a city where you can access almost everything on foot or by bicycle.

Peine de los vientos Our route starts in one of the most beautiful

spots of the city, a work by sculptor Chillida

Ondarreta beach San sebastian is sorrounded by three beaches

and three mounts.

Miramar Palace It was the Queen María Cristina who ordered its

construction and was used as her summer house

La Concha beach This is the most known and crowded beach. It is

famous for its clear and calm waters.

Town Hall At the end of the promenade we come to the

town hall, an impressive building that was once a casino.

The Royal Sailing Club This building gives the idea of a boat moored in

the quay.

The port

The port It is home to both fishing and pleasure boats, with

the colourful fishermen’s dwellings

Zurriola Bridge: Kursaal Congress The river Urumea divides the city. Kursaal, a

controversial building by architect R. Moneo.

Zurriola Beach This is a favourite meeting place for surfers for

its big waves

The Romantic area

It starts at the Boulevard, which is presided over by the Bandstand

The Old Town The Constitution Square lies in the heart of the Old

Town. The numbers on the balconies remind us that it was once a bullring

Basilica of Santa María The most outstanding feature is the Baroque

façade dominated by the sculpture of San sebastián

The Cathedral of El Buen Pastor At the other end we find this cathedral of neo-

gothic style that lies in the centre of the city

Green Areas Guipuzcoa Square Aiete Park

Mount Igeldo Famous for its views of the city and a chariming

fair park with old rollercoasters
