The Refusal That Started It All

When Rosa Parks was older she refused to give up her seat to a white passenger.

When she did that ,that started a boycott in other cities.

Her refusal helped launched efforts to end segregation of public facilties nation wide.

Info On The Boycott

Montgomery Alabama has a city code where all public transportation is required to be segregated.

The bus drivers must carry out that code and they have the power to act as a policeman if need be.
