ScenarioIn your teams, find recently published articles (past week) from your assigned countries that deal with the situation in Syria. You are to jigsaw two articles, keeping you team notes in a common document. You are to present your findings in a pushpin on a collaborative map. You are also to collect those urls in a common place.(Tag=GatesSyria) Finally, you are to give a 5 minute presentation summary.

ScenarioProve or disprove:In the last ten years, the price per gallon of gas very closely followed the price per barrel of oil. Present your findings.OrEarthquakes have gotten more and more powerful over the past 50 years. Present your findings.

ScenarioBy 2027 there will be another billion people on the planet. In your teams, decide on your top ten areas of greatest impact. (Energy, housing, water, etc) Prioritize them. Find information that helps to support your rationale. Build a presentation that helps us understand the impact that another billion people will have on your top three areas.

"One of the things I think we have to ask ourselves as school leaders is, ‘What’s our moral imperative to prepare kids for a digital, global age?’ Right now we’re sort of ignoring that requirement. . . .”
