What is Singular?

A form of noun or verb refer to one person or thing.

What is Plural?

A form of noun or verb refer to one person or thing more than one (many)

Examples:For plural form of most nouns, add s.

One bottle Two bottles

For nouns that end in ch, x, s, or s sounds, add es.

dress dresses

For nouns ending in f or fe, change f to v and add es.

wife wives

leaf leaves

wolf wolves

Some nouns have different plural forms.

Child Children

Nouns ending in vowels like y or o do not have definite rules.

Potato Potatoes

A few nouns have the same singular and plural forms.

sheep sheep

Singular sentence:(1) Ali has a car

Plural sentence:(1) Mimie and Mona have cars
