It was organised by: Ján Čarnogurský, VladimírJukl, František Mikloško

It was the first public expression of resistance

There were more than 2000 people

The crowd of people was praying in peace, in spite of that the police attacked the people, plenty of them were arrested

The whole world was informed by BBC, The voice of America and other TV channels all over the world

That is the history of Slovakia and an exampleof how to fight against violence without usingit and eventually reach what we were fightingfor. There can be many obstacles but we haveto be stubborn and go on till we reach ourgoals.
