Why?

What we do in E.P. La Salle

Green areasIn our school we have a small green space, where

we plant some plants and we look after them to learn to preserve nature.

RecyclingIn our school we stay more covinced than in other

schools about recycling. In every class there are two bins, one for paper and the oher for waste.

Reflections, campaings and habits

Every morning, before starting the lessons, we reflect for a while about different topics: social reality, Agenda 21, and so on.

Do you do any similar activity in your school?

Comenius projectOur school represents Spain in this project. We carry out

different activities related to the care of our planet to try to enjoy it the maximum time possible. Thanks to this project, some people have come to our school to do a training school year. Last year we had Susann from Germany and this year we have the pleasure to have Sabrina from Belgium.

Fair tradeIn the weeks of fair trade, since 8th of December untill 16th of December. The students from 4thESO sell different products with a higher price than normal products to collect money for poor people.

Agenda 21Agenda 21 is a universal project in which our school

takes part. In this way, we try to raise awareness among students about the environment.

In Spain, there is a contest whose aim is that schools take part in activities related to the consumer’s education, in order to get that children learn to consume responsibly.
