OpenAIRE plugin for OJS
The plugin extends (according to the OpenAIRE Guidelines):– the article metadata– the OAI‐PMH interfaceIt allows authors and editors to add the mandatory projectID (Grant Agreement number) to the articlemetadata;Enables harvesting of those records relevant to OpenAIRE using the mandatory set 'ec_fundedresources'.

How to install OpenAIRE addon?
The addon is already available from OJS 2.3.4 version.To older versions, please check this information: http://pkp.sfu.ca/support/forum/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=7085
To install the Openaire plugin we have 2 options »»»

Install (OPTION 1)
To install the plugin either:copy the plugin tar.gz file to your OJS/plugins/generic directoryto unzip the plugin inside the plugins/generic directory:– $ tar xvzf openAIRE‐1.0.tar.gzfrom your OJS directory execute:– $ php tools/upgrade.php upgradeenable the plugin by going to: – Home > User > Journal Management > Plugin
Management > Generic Plugins and selecting "ENABLE" under "OpenAIRE"

Install (OPTION 2)
upload the plugin tar.gz file by goint to:
– Home > User > Journal Management > Plugin Management > Install A New Plugin
enable the plugin by going to:
– Home > User > Journal Management > Plugin Management > Generic Plugins and selecting "ENABLE" under "OpenAIRE"

How to activate the OpenAIRE plugin?
Login as Journal Manager and go to
– System Plugins =>
– Generic Plugins =>
– and click “Enable”

How to check the ec_fundedresources set?
Access the OAI‐PMH interface of your journal. Click on ListSets verb.
– To verify the URL of the OAI‐PMH interface, go to “Journal Management”, » “Journal Setup” and then read the info (at the 3.5) item “Register Journal for Indexing”. Copy the URL and paste it on your browser.

How to check OpenAIRE records
If everything works well, you should be able to see a EC_fundedresources.
To check which records are in this set, just click on “Records”.
– You should see a list of OAI Records of each OpenAIRE compliant record.
