Follow your teacher's rules for appropriate use of slang, acronyms, and emoticons.

Check for grammar and usage errors so your message is clear

Ask clarifying questions to make sure you understand what is being said.

Stay on topic. Be clear and concise.

Never share any personal information (including name, address, or pictures) with someone you don't know.

Create strong passwords Don't download from untrusted sites. If unsure or uncomfortable with a

situation online, ask for guidance from a trusted adult.

This is an aggressive or intentionally hurtful act done through electronic means by an individual or a group.

All students deserve the right to be safe at school and cyberbullying will not be tolerated.

If you are being bullied or are a witness to cyberbullying, please tell a trusted adult.
