In a July 2009 report, the Pew Internet and American Life Project states that African Americans are the most active users of the mobile internet.(http://www.pewinternet.org/Reports/2009/12-Wireless-Internet-Use.aspx) This concurs with another Pew Report which indicates that English-speaking Hispanics have the highest rate of cell phone ownership, as well as doing more on their phones on a typical day than White or Black Americans. These factors indicate that the digital divide diminishes significantly when mobile use is taken into account.
