OverviewThe show revolves around a hitman named Aedan Mercer and the different types of contracts that he takes on in order to make a living for himself and his assistant Rebecca Flint. Taken in at a young age after losing his family by Russian terrorist and mob boss Iosef Praxis, Mercer has been raised to take the lives of others without conscience. However, after being liberated from Praxis, Mercer has grown up only to continue his profession as an assassin but to instead only kill those who truly deserve to die, leading him towards his final target: Praxis. Mercer is introduced first when he goes to a psychiatrist named Joshua Bishop after he has recently had some issues following through with his work as he may be suffering from traumatic depression and flashbacks from his childhood. However, this is not the only reason he has come to the office of Dr. Bishop

Mercer has been raised from a young age to be a professional killer after losing his family at a young age. Generally a low-toned and level-headed person, Mercer manages to remain calm in almost every situation, but there are very rare situations where he becomes unstable and lets his emotions get the better of him. Despite his profession, Mercer is surprisingly young as he is only 23.

• Joshua Bishop – A man in his late 50’s, Bishop is a psychiatrist whom Mercer has an appointment within the first episode of the series as he is having issues with his ‘work’. However what Bishop doesn't know is that he is actually Mercer’s next contracted target.
