INTRODUCTION Communication is
simply the act of
transferring
information from one place to another.
Communication is a key element in any human activity. Communication is a learned skill.
However, while most people are born with the physical ability to talk, not all can communicate
well unless they make special efforts to develop and refine this communication skill. Very often,
we take the ease with which we communicate with each other for granted, so much so that we
sometimes forget how complex the communication process actually is. Communication takes
place when we are supposedly at the same level of understanding and comprehension as other
interlocutors. Common forms of communication include speaking, writing, gestures, touch,
using pictures and broadcasting. Communication is therefore not what is said whether verbally
or non-verbally, but what is understood.
The Communication Process
A message or communication is sent by the sender through a communication channel to a receiver, or
to multiple receivers. The sender must encode the message (the information being conveyed) into a
form that is appropriate to the communication channel, and the receiver(s) then decodes the message
to understand its meaning and significance.
Need for communication skills
Communication is the heart of every organization. Everything you do in the workplace results from
communication. Therefore, good reading, writing, speaking and listening skills are essential if tasks are
going to be completed and goals achieved. As you develop your career you will find various reasons why successful communication skills are important to you, for example:
To secure an interview: You will need good communication skills to make sure your application letter is
read and acted upon.
To get the job: You will need to communicate well during your interview if you are to sell yourself and get the job you want.
Benefits of effective communication
The most successful organizations understand that if they are to be successful in today’s business world,
good communication at all levels is essential. Here is a useful mnemonic to remember the benefits you
and your organization can achieve from effective communication.
Benefits of effective communication Stronger decision-making and problem-solving
Upturn in productivity
Convincing and compelling corporate materials
Clearer, more streamlined workflow
Enhanced professional image
Sound business relationships
Successful response ensured
Research Problems
We enjoyed taking this survey Yes we faced many difficulties taking this as we are beginner we were not
knowing how to create forms at the starting we took help of YouTube to create forms to make Google forms.
As our survey is for whom their name starts from U-Z to as there are few people whose name starts
from U-Z alphabets on first day we got only 3 records. On second day we got 7 records but there were 2
people who filled the form whose name do not starts form U-Z alphabets at last we got 17 records.
We were having problem of structure of the project but it was solved after you gave directions how to make structure of project this was helpful to us. We prepared form as per your direction.
Sending the form to right person and asking them to fill it.

Conclusion For a group of people to be in an organization rather than just a random collection of individu als, they
need to communicate with each other and coordinate their activities. The more effective the
communication, the more efficient and productive the activities will be. A well-organized workplace features transparency through hierarchies so that everyone is clear about his role and purpose at work.
To participate in decision making, and, through trusting them, which assures the integrity of information
channels. Ultimately, the openness of any communication climate depends upon the character of the
participants. Openness often demands courage because the communicator operates with lowered or
eliminated defensive barriers, even when standing up to verbal assault. Because open communicators
have to articulate their positions in meetings, public arenas, and in print, they must be secure
individuals, confident in their own positions, ability, and authority.
In this survey we found different type of students with different age and from different place everyone
has their own opinion and their result is displayed as above in graphical form. We asked many question
about them such as Name, Age, Native Place, Educational Qualifications, Medium of Instruction,
Educational Qualifications of Guardian, Occupation of Guardian and asked 14 questions related to communication skills this all record are collected by the help of Google forms.
After analyzing we came at conclusion people have different skills, having their unique styles and their
different mindset accordingly the responded to the questions according to their perception which was asked in the form.
