Irish Mathematical Enrichment ProgrammeThe primary aim of the enrichment classes is to improve students’

mathematical problem solving abilities and to foster an enjoyment of

mathematics among the students.

Weekly classes run on Saturday mornings by mathematicians at five

centres around the country:

University College Dublin

Maynooth University

National University of Ireland Galway

University of Limerick

University College Cork

At the end of each year the top performing students form the Irish

team to take part in the International Mathematical Olympiad. This

year’s Olympiad team will travel to Thailand in July to take part.

We would like to invite all 3rd and 4th year finalists of the MATHletes

competition to join the Enrichment programme next year.
