Making mobile cases

Recycle old cardboard and fabric

Measure your phone in order to cut 3 pieces of cardboard properly

You will need: cardboard from milk or juices, fabric scraps, felt (it’s soft) rubber scraps, glue

The larger ones will be the front and back cover. The rounded will be inside.

Cut 3 pieces of cardboard a bit larger than your phone. One has rounded edges!

If you use adhesive fabric, put the two pieces next to each other.Just leave 1,5cm distance so that they can be folded. Trim and turn the edges. Glue the felt on top.

If you use a hot-glue gun, it might be easier…whatever suits you best.

Glue the edges carefully and let it dry..

That’s the tricky part. Add a rubber band to the side of the case. Let it be big enough for your finger. This will secure the case. We need it to be tight.

Add two rubber bands to hold the phoneNow glue the felt

Assemble the case. The rounded piece goes over the piece with the rubber band. Just letthe glue dry and keep it tight.

From lots of scraps you can create cases!
