ELAZIG PRE-SCHOOL ELAZIG, TURKEY

Pre-primay school (age 3-6 years – not compulsory, but attended by 99% of children

Pre-school education (3-6 Years Old) comprehends two components: one educational, which is the responsibility of the Ministery of the Education, with a daily lenght of five hours and another of family support which is the responsibility of the municipalities, with a daily.

A child at the age of 3 to 5 may receive pre-school education, which is not compulsory, but all six year-old children attend either kindergartens or pre-school classes organized in primary schools

Attendance at French nursery school is optional, chilcare being compulsory from age 6. However are welcomed about 23% of children aged 2 years, 95% of children 3 years and almost all children ages 4 and 5. They are free and secular public schools

In Turkey, preschool education, which is optional, includes the education of children in the 3-4 years of age group, Preschool education is given in kindergartens, preparatory classrooms, application classrooms, nursery schools and day-care homes by various ministries and institutions, and by the Ministry of National Education most of all. Pre-school education is compulsory for 6 years old children .
