Copenhagen• The experience: Rent bikes! Islands Brygge (bring a grill,

rosé and bathing clothes). Games in Absalon. Kongens Have for a break. The Beach Park (if sun’s up). Free walking tours with Visit Copenhagen. Rent a GoBoat in the harbour.

• On the inside: Modern art at Louisiana up north. National galley at Statens Museum. Greeks and palmtrees at Glyptoteket. Danish classics at Hirschsprungske Samling.

• Food and drink: The Meat Packing District on Saturdays. Paper Island on any day and Kvæsthusmolen. Bars: Barking Dog, Lidkøb, K-Bar, Dialegd, Mikkeller Nørrebro and Log Lady and soon Brønnum. Eateries: Höst, Bodil and Marv & Ben.

• When: 1970s with Golden Days Festival right now. Culture Night on October 14.
