To celebrate the 234th Anniversary of America,

the U.S. Embassy in Bulgaria and the American

Corner at the Sofia City Library held a poster contest for students with the theme

“BULGARIA AND THE U.S. – A NEW PARTNERSHIP.”

Bulgarian students competed

in two age groups: 10 to 13 years old,

and 14 to 16 years old.

It was established in 2004 as an organization dedicated to facilitating academic research in Bulgaria for North American scholars and collaboration between scholars from North America and countries in Southeast Europe
