*Once upon a time there

was a boy named

Keloglan. Nobody liked

him, because he was

bald. Keloglan was

half-orphan, as he had

only his mother. Before

his father had died, he

had given a magic

peacock to his son. The

peacock could speak

and it was Keloglan’s

best friend.

*Keloglan wanted to explore the whole world, so he decided to start a journey with his peacock. His mumwas worried, but she agreed on Keloglan’s plan. Beforehis journey Keloglan bought some fresh bread for hismum on the bazaar.

*Keloglan and the peacock were wandering through the forests, rivers and they reached high mountains. Theycouldn’t go further, because there was an ugly man whodidn’t let them pass along. The smart peacock helpedKeloglan fight the ugly man

*They reached the big castle where a beautiful girl was

imprisoned. Keloglan wanted to free her, but there was a

big giant that wanted a lot of money for the girl.

*Keloglan

didn’t have

any money,

but the smart

peacock

helped him

again. They

freed the girl

and ran away.

*Keloglan came back home, married the

girl and they lived happily ever after.
