GEOGRAPHY

ITALY,northern,border with Switzerland and Austria to the west by France and east to Slovenia.To the south, it consists of the entirety of the Italian Peninsula and has got two big island Sicily and Sardinia.Also it has a population of about 60,92 million.

SPORT

In Italy many people take part in sport.Football is the most popular sport in italy. Basketball, volleyball,and Cycling are the next most popular/played sports.Another sports are: Tennis,Skiing,Gymnastics,Golf,(water)sports,etc.

LEISURE TIME1)Italians take naps if their leisure time occurs during the heat of the day.They spent some time at the beach.

2)They sit out in the garden and read newspapers if their leisure time occurs during the later, cooler daylight hours.

3)They meet friends in cafes.They go

shopping for fresh foods or special clothing needs.

4)They get together with family and friends to try out new recipes or hear the latest news.

THE ARTSItalian art has influenced several major movements throughout the centuries and has produced several great artists, including painters and sculptors. Today, Italy has an important place in the international art scene, with several major art galleries, museums and exhibitions major artistic centres in the country include its capital city, Rome, Florence, Venice, Milan, Naples, Turin, and other cities..

EDUCATIONEducation in Italy is compulsory from 6 to 16 years of age and is divided into five stages: kindergarten , primary school , lower secondary school , upper secondary school and university. Italy

has both public and private education systems.
