HOW TO INSTALL WINDOWS SERVER 2003

Hardware Requirements For Windows Server 2003As minimum requirements for Windows Server 2003, An Intel processor–

based server running Windows Server 2003 with at least 128 megabytes (MB)

of RAM can be used to run Windows Server 2003, but as your organization

goes bigger and your users are increased, then you should consider bringing a

powerful server with latest Processor Technology (Dual Core) and high

processor cache (2MB or 4MB), also with at least 512 MB Memory. Microsoft

also recommends that the server should have several gigabytes of disk storage

(at Least Two SCSI Disks). In addition, servers should be equipped with high-

speed network interface cards (Minimum 100 MBps).

Press F8 for Windows Licensing Agreement

Press C to create partition

Enter the size of volume in MB and press ENTER

Select the partition in which you want to install your windows server and press ENTER

Select the type of format the partition using the NTFS or FAT file system and press ENETR

It will take 5 to 7 minutes to copy all files required to install windows server

Press ENTER to Restart

Click on NEXT to continue

Type your NAME and ORGANIZATION and Click on NEXT

Enter your Product Key and click on NEXT

Click on NEXT

Remove the numbers from the COMPUTER NAME and type the ADMINISTRATOR PASSWORD and CONFIRM PASSWORD and then click on NEXT

Select your time zone and click on NEXT

Select TYPICAL SETTING and click on NEXT

Click on NEXT

Press Ctrl+Alt+Delete

Now type your ADMINISTRATOR PASSWORD for login to your windows server
