Introduction

• Importance of Education–Education is a vital investment for human

and economic development.

–It is a universally accepted fact that education is considered the most powerful instrument.

–It unlocks the door to awareness and informed choices.

–Raises the productivity, efficiency of individuals and produces skilled manpower

–According to the UNESCO education means to achieve his goals and targets in life.

–In United Kingdom, who can read a paragraph of Holy Bible were called literate persons.

–18th century, reading and translation is treated as higher education levels.

• Importance of education in Islam–Are those equal, those who know and those

who do not know? (Al-Zumr, 09)

–According to the saying of Last Prophet (P.B.U.H.) for the sake of Knowledge you can travel to the longest distance like Arabia from China.

• Negligence of Education–In a ideological country like Pakistan,

education has never been given the due importance as per requirement.
