Literacy Help
Sample proposalI , James Haddad propose to
work on for my iLe@rn project a literacy scaffold to help others gain experience and confidence in the field of writing speeches using e-technology. I believe I can help others by showing them:
How to plan a speech How to put together the
elements of the speech…
Group DynamicsStages of group development
Bruce Tuckman (1965) developed a model of group development. The stages, he named:
1. Forming: The group comes together. Initial excitement.2. Storming: A chaotic vying for leadership.3. Norming: Eventually agreement is reached on how the
group operates (norming)4. Performing: The group practices its craft and becomes
effective in meeting its objectives.5. Adjourning: The process of "unforming" the group,
that is, letting go of the group structure and moving on.
Forming
“Ok, this sounds interesting. “
“It’s better than REAL work.”
“I think I can work with Freddy.”
Storming
“We can’t do anything, Miss! There’s no internet!”
“Can I go to the library? It’s too noisy.”
“He always wants to be the boss!”
Norming
“This is awesome, Miss!”
“Thanks for doing this project with us!”
Performing
“Oh yeah,
I get it!”
Adjourning
“You know what we’re doing, Miss.... Can’t you just do it for us?”
“I’m sick of this.”
“Grrrr….”
