• Creative Commons licenses are comprised of different combinations of the 4 below elements symbolized as follows:
Attribution – attribute the creator
Non-commercial – no commercial use
No Derivative Works – no modifications
Share-Alike – modify the work only if you permit others to modify your additions to the original work

• Creative Commons licenses are pre-attached so there is no need to request permission from rights holders to use their works under the conditions detailed in the licence.
• However, you MUST ensure that your intended use of the work is permitted under the licence.
