How do I……renew books?

To renew your books online, go to www.eclibrary.ca

Click on Catalogue

Click on My Account.

Select Renew My Materials.

A login screen will appear.

Enter your login information (see next slide) and click on List Charged Items.

User User ID PIN

Students & Alumni of Canadore College or Nipissing University

The number on your Canadore or Nipissing identification card

Your date of birth in MMDDYY format

Faculty & Staff of Canadore College or Nipissing University

The number on yourstaff card

Ask at the Circulation Desk for your PIN, orcall 474-3450 ext. 4222

PALS &Community Members The number on your Library card

Ask at the Circulation Desk for your PIN, orcall 474-3450 ext. 4222

Distance Education Students & Faculty

Please email distance@eclibrary.ca, or call1-800-655-5154 (choose Library) if you would like a book renewed.

You will see a list of all the materials you have borrowed from the Library, plus their due dates.

Select the title(s)you wish to renew

Click on Renew Selected Items

If you want to renew all your books at once, select Renew All.

Check to make sure that all items were renewed successfully.

The new due date(s) will be indicated.

If you see this message, the item isdue back by the original due date.

You cannot renew a book online if any of the following apply: The book is overdue. You have outstanding fines on any Library materials. Someone else has requested the book. The item is a DVD or video. The book is a Reserve or Short-Loan item. You have renewed the book the maximum number

of times (four for most books).

Other Ways to Renew Your Books In Person

Bring your Canadore or Nipissing identification card or PALS card to the Circulation Desk at the front of the Library, and we will renew your books for you.

It is your responsibility to remember when your Library materials are due.

Please be considerate to other patrons and return your books on time.
