Program Overview

• Enroll in 23 seven-week core classes in areas such as business law, strategy, finance, operations, and marketing management.

• Enroll in 12 additional classes in areas such as management of acute care hospitals, physician practice management, and managing skilled nursing facilities.

• Develop your ability to evaluate, assess, judge, and take action in any business situation regardless of the career you choose.

• The online program is a tightly structured and can be completed in two years.

• Learn from distinguished faculty who are engaged in a wide variety of research activities at GW's four research centers.

• Be associated with one of the best business schools and programs in the country; GW is AACSB-accredited and ranked among the top 50 MBAs in the United States in 2009 by the Financial Times.

CurriculumThe program has 52.5 credit hours: 23 core classes and 12 additional classes. Each module has three classes and lasts seven weeks. Each class within the module is worth 1.5 credits.

Admission Requirements

• A completed application form and $60 application fee• Official transcripts of all post-secondary academic programs

attended.• Three to five years of professional working experience• Current resume• Two letters of recommendation demonstrating your professional

experience and qualification for graduate study• Statement of program objectives and professional goals• Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) results. The GMAT

may be waived for US board certified medical doctors and those with seven or more years of professional experience

• Applicants who earned their undergraduate degree outside of the US are required to submit a Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) score
