Log in using your netid
andpassword

Choose Mail
Step 4
Chat pane is located in the
bottom left

If you need to download the Google Hangouts plugin, you
will get a prompt

You may also need to add contacts if you want to talk to someone outside
the UALR.edu domain.

Chose and click on a person’s name.
A chat window will pop up.
