GETTING STARTED WITH SCREENCAST-O-MATIC

STEP 1

Go to: http://www.screencast-o-matic.com/

STEP 2Signing up

Click ‘login’.

Fill in the required

information.Then click

‘Login’ button.

Click at ‘Register’ button.

To login, insert your email and password.

STEP 3Start recording

Allow the Java Applet to run

to available the screen

recorder.

At Screencast-O-Matic home page. Click at

‘Start Recording’ button.

Click this button to start

recording.

Click at this button to turn on your

audio.

Choose of the video size.

Click this button to turn on the

webcam.

After you have finished the recoding, click the

‘Done’ button.

STEP 4Publishing the Screen Capture Video

You can choose to publish your

recording in Screencast-O-

Matic, YouTube or save as video

file.

Then, click ‘Done with

this recording’.

(a) Publish to Screencast-O-Matic

Fill in the required

information.

Wait for upload to complete.

This is the URL of your

video uploaded to SOM.

Click at the URL given

and you can view your video in

SOM.Then, click ‘Upload to

SOM’.

(b) Publish to YouTube HD

Fill in the required

information.

You must click the ‘Grant access’ button to allow the

video uploaded in your YouTube account.

This is the URL of your video

uploaded to YouTube.

This is the URL of your video uploaded to

YouTube.

Click at the URL given and you can view your video in

YouTube.

(c) Publish to Video File

Then, click ‘Save

Video.

Fill in the required

information.

Choose the format of the

video.

Add caption in your video.

Insert notes in your video.
