FONTIDEASFORFRONTSPREADMASTHEAD

VELOCETTEI chose this font as one of my choices as I like that it is very retro

inspired, however, gives off more of a 50’s American vibe. The underlining techniques which comes away from the last letter of

the word looks similar to the logo’s used for the scooter logo’s for Vespa & Lambretta which are associated with my magazine genre.

Here is the best example I found when combining a chosen font with a rough title idea;

I think this title works well as it’s quite straightforward but fancy at the time in which is what I am looking for in a title for my magazine.

FATSO CAPSI chose this font as I like the design of the way the letters appear to curl round and the end. I also like how the font is a little bit odd & different, you could say it ‘’Stands out from the crowd’’ which is a main reason why subcultures exist (my magazine main theme – Mod subculture)

Here is the best example I found when combining a chosen font with a rough title idea;

I like this design as it looks quite prominent and the letters of the title work well with this font, I am not sure about the

thickness of the letters as I think it will make my front spread look a little cramped, however, I could maybe used this font for

other parts of the magazine, for example, contents page, double spread article page.
