REPUBLIC DAY• The Republic of Turkey founded on 29th October 1923.

NEW YEAR DAY• It is celebrated with some concerts and enjoyable activities.

National Sovereignty and Children Day

• The first Turkish National Parliament is composed by Atatürk.

• Atatürk presented to the children all over the World.

Youth and Sports Day

• The Turkish Independence War was started when Atatürk went to Samsun.

• This day is presented to youths, because youths are the future of a country.

VICTORY DAY

• Turkey won the Independence War at the end of World War I.

The Festival of Ramadan

• Muslims don’t eat something to understand the poor people for 30 days. Later, they celebrate this ritual.

• They eat some special foods for the festival.

THE FESTIVAL OF SACRIFICE

• People kiss each other and go to their relatives’ and friends’ houses.
