Fathers Enduring Love

The words that you are about to hear are not the words of some man; they are the tried and tested and power filled words of the loving God spoken just for you, words to meet your every need.

It is a Fathers letter to a son or daughter in distress, a child who knows pain and sorrow intimately. Perhaps today you are filled with fear of what the future holds, perhaps you feel like life’s not worth living. If so read these promises again and again. Allow His words, his promises to heal your mind and body and make you free.

My dear lost child,You ask me where I am. My child, have you not read, ‘I am with you and I always will be’ (Matthew 28:20) at times you may feel weak, but in me you

are strong (2 Corinthians 12:10)

My beloved, why do you question my love for you? Can you truly question love that would die for you? Is it not written that ‘greater love has no man than this that a man lay down his life for a friend (John 15:13)

Have you not read that I ‘gave my only Son to rescue and to save you seeing it was not my will that you perish, rather that you would have everlasting life’ (John 3:16)

Have you not heard with your ears and seen with your own eyes that ‘I am love’ (1 John 4:16) have you not seen that I ‘revealed my love in that while you were still a sinner my Son Jesus died for you’ (Romans 5:8)

Because of ‘my rich mercy I have indeed loved you with a great love’ (Ephesians 2:4) surely ‘I have loved you with an everlasting love’ (Jeremiah 31:3)

I am the ‘God of love’ (2 Corinthians 13:10) I am he that has ‘bestowed my love upon you that you should be called my sons and daughters’ ‘the world does not know you for it knows me not’ (1 John 3:1)

Once you were aliens, strangers, far away, without hope but now are you made near by the blood of Christ my Son (Ephesians 2:12-13)

I am the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob (Acts 7:32) but to you I am God your Father: (2 Timothy 1:2) I am he that has loves you with the same measure that I love my only begotten Son (John 17:23)

‘Can a mother forget her sucking child that she should not have compassion on the child of her womb? Yes, they may forget yet I will not forget you, I am he that has engraved you upon the palms of my hands’ (Isaiah 49:15-16)

Surely I have promised to never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5)

No,’ nothing shall separate you from my love which is in Christ my Son, neither death nor life, nor angels, nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other creature’ Romans 8:38-39.

‘I am before all things, and in me all things hold together’ (Colossians 1:17). I uphold all things by the word of my power’ (Hebrews 1:3).

‘I am the Alpha and the Omega’ (Revelation 1:11) the ever existent God ‘I am the Lord I change not’ (Malachi 3:6) ‘my compassions they fail not’ (Lamentations 3:22)

I have not given you a spirit of bondage again to fear rather I have given you my Spirit of adoption whereby you cry out Abba, Daddy, Father (Romans 8:15)

Why then should you be fearful? For I have not given you a spirit of fear but of power of love and of a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7)

Why then should you be fearful? For I have not given you a spirit of fear but of power of love and of a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7)

Herein is your love made perfect because as I am so are you in the world (1 John 4:17)

Fear not when illness overtakes you for ‘I am The Lord who Heals you’ (Exodus 15:26) I am ‘The Lord your Miracle, The Lord your Banner’ (Exodus 17:15) by my stripes you were healed’ (1Peter 2:24)

Fear not when you are overwhelmed, cry unto me and I will lead you to the rock that is higher than the sum of your greatest fears, I am your shelter and a strong tower from all your enemies’ (Psalm 61:2-3)

The fruit of my Spirit is love joy and peace (Galatians 5:22) indeed ‘my banner over you is love’ (Song of Solomon 2:4)

I am he that ‘will keep you in perfect peace as you keep your mind firmly fixed on me and trust me’ (Isaiah 26:3)

I have proved my love for you in that ‘I gave my Son and through him gave you eternal (everlasting and abundant) life’ for ‘he that has the Son has life and he that does not have the Son has not life’ (1 John 5:11-12)

Surely these things are written unto all that believe on the name of the Son of God in order that you may know that you have eternal life and that you may believe on his name’ (1 John 5:13)

My child ‘Be confident in this, be assured that if you ask anything according to my will I do hear you, and if you know I hear you, whatsoever you ask, you can be sure that you have what you asked for’ (1 John 5:14-15)

Moreover have I not promised that ‘whatsoever you shall ask in my name that will I do’ indeed if you shall ‘ask anything in my name I will do it’ John 14:12-13)

‘If you abide in me and my words abide in you, you shall ask what you will and it shall be done unto you’ (John 15:7) for in this am I glorified ‘that you bear much fruit’ (John 15:8)

My dearest child remember always, ‘you did not choose me for I have chosen you and ordained you that you should go and bring forth fruit and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever you ask of me in the name of my Son ‘I will’ give it to you’ (John 15:16)

It is written that you should ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your might’ but one more commandment I give you, ‘love your neighbour as yourself’ (Matthew 22:37-39)

It is I who has declared that ‘if a man love me he will keep my words and I will love him and we will come unto him and make our abode with him’ (John 14:23)

‘If you keep my commandments you shall abide in my love’ (John 15:10) and this is my commandment to you ‘that you love one another in the same measure as I have loved you’ (John 15:12)

‘Many are the afflictions of those who are righteous but it is I who delivers them out of them all’ (Psalm 34:19)

My child know in your heart that ‘all things do work together for good to them that love me, to them who are the called according to my purpose’ (Romans 8:28)

I am the God of All Comfort (2 Corinthians 1:3) the true ‘God of Peace’ (Hebrews 13:20) ‘my peace I left you, my peace I gave you, so do not let your heart be troubled neither let it be afraid’ (John 14:27)

I am God Who Is Near: (Jeremiah 23:23). I am not distant I did not create the world to abandon it or you, I am the God of Compassion: (Deuteronomy 4:31). My very nature is one of kindness, compassion and goodness to all people.

I am ‘God gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness,’ (Joel 2:13) I am he who has sanctified and separated you from the world by offering my body as a sacrifice once for all (Hebrews 10:10) is this not a supreme example of true kindness?

‘I the Lord am good and ready to forgive, and plenteous in mercy unto all who call upon me’ (Psalm 86:5)

I am not distant but like a good shepherd I watch over you by day and by night for I am ‘God with you’ (Isaiah 7:14) ‘I neither slumber nor sleep while I watch over you’ (Psalm 121:4)

‘Avenge not yourself, but rather give place to wrath for, vengeance is mine; I will repay’ (Romans 12:19)

If your enemy hungers, feed him, if he is thirsty give him a drink, be not overcome with evil but overcome evil with good’ (Romans 12:20)

‘Forgive all those who trespass against you and I will forgive you all your trespasses’ (Matthew 6:12) for ‘if you will not forgive those that trespass against you neither will I forgive you your trespasses’ (Matthew 6:15)

Therefore if you offer your gift on the altar, and there remember that your brother has anything against you, leave your gift there before the altar and go. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift’ (Matthew 5:23-24)

Remember always, ‘Love your neighbour as yourself for love works no ill to his neighbour therefore love is the fulfilling of the law’ (Romans 13:9-10)

I am your Dwelling Place: (Psalm 90:1) your Fortress: (Psalm 91:2) your Stronghold: (Psalm 18:2) and your Hiding Place: (Psalm 32:7)

Listen closely now my beloved; ‘though you may speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not love, you are become as sounding brass or a tinkling cymbal.’

‘ And though you have prophecies, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge; and though you have all faith, so as to move mountains, and do not have love, you are nothing.’

‘And though you give out all your goods to feed the poor, and though you deliver your body to be burned, and have not love, you are profited nothing.’

‘ Love has patience, is kind; love is not envious, is not vain, is not puffed up; It does not behave indecently, does not seek her own it is not easily

provoked, and thinks no evil.’

‘Love does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices in the truth, it quietly covers all things, believes all things, hopes all things, and endures all things.’

‘Love never fails. But if there are prophecies, they will be abolished; if tongues, they shall cease; if knowledge, it will be abolished.’

‘For we know in part, and we prophesy in part But when the perfect thing comes, then that which is in part will be caused to cease.’

‘When you were an infant, you spoke as an infant; you thought as an infant, you reasoned as an infant. But now that you’re a man, do away with the things of an infant.’

‘For now you see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face. Now you know in part, but then you shall fully know even as you also are fully known.’

‘And now, faith, hope, love, these three remain; but the greatest of these is love’ (1 Corinthians 13)

Be aware that ‘no one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will hold onto the one and despise the other, no one can serve me and serve the world’ (Matthew 6:24)

He that finds or holds onto his life shall lose it and he that looses his life for my sake or takes up his cross daily and follows me shall find eternal life’ (John 12:25)

Have you not read that ‘he whose sins are many is forgiven much; for he loves much: but to whom little is forgiven, the same loves little’ (Luke 7:47)

Before me your sins are grievous, upon you they are burdensome so ‘come unto me all that labour and are heavy laden and I will give you rest’ (Matthew 11:28)

Come for ‘now is the time that I have appointed, behold now is the day of your salvation’ (2 Corinthians 6:2) so ‘come now and let us reason together, though your sins be as scarlet they shall be white as snow’ (Isaiah 1:18)

I do not condemn you nor did my Son ‘come into the world to condemn the world but rather that all through him all should be rescued from their sin and saved’ (John 3:17)

I am ‘the Lord who forgives all your iniquities and who heals all your diseases’ I am he that redeem your life from destruction and who crowns you with loving kindness and tender mercies’ (Psalm 103:3-4)

It is not my will that you or anyone should perish but that you should come and repent’ (2 Peter 3:9) ‘whosoever believes in Christ my Son will not perish but will have eternal life’ (John 3:15)

All around you ‘the love of many has grown cold, because of the abundance of iniquity and sin’ but ‘he that endures to the end shall be rescued and saved’ (Matthew.24:12-13)

Even now I am ‘calling you by name,’ (Isaiah 43:1) even today ‘as you hear my voice do not harden your heart,’ (Psalm 95:8)

I am he ‘who knocks on the door of your heart if you open your heart and invite me in I will surely enter’ (Revelation 3:20)

Be assured that ‘if you will confess with your mouth that I am your Lord and believe in your heart that I raised Christ from the dead you will be saved’ (Romans 10:9-10)

Seeing that ‘I spared not my own Son but delivered him up for you all, shall I not also freely give you all things’ (Romans 8:32) ‘pertaining to life and to godliness’ (2 Peter 1:3)

Even now ‘eye has not seen, nor ear heard, neither has it entered into the heart of man, the things which I have prepared for them that love me. (1Corinthians 2:9)

Come just as you are and you will find me ‘Faithful and true’ (Jeremiah 42:5) come in repentance of your sin and you will find forgiveness and cleansing through the blood of my own Son.

Come and through Christ my Son your name will be found in ‘the lamb’s book of life’ (Revelation 13:8)

Come unto me and behold I will bring you into a ‘new heaven and a new earth, I will cause you to rest in the new Jerusalem, the holy city and you shall be my child and I shall be your God. (Revelation 21:1-3)

In that place I will wipe away all tears from your eyes for there will be neither sorrow, nor crying and no more pain for the former things have passed away. (Revelation 21:4)

I send you an invitation to ‘the marriage supper of the Lamb’ I have robed you in the white robes of ‘my own righteousness’ (Revelation 19:7)

Come quickly for in the place of my dwelling is ‘no more curse’ (Revelation 22:3) make haste if you are thirsty, ‘come drink freely of the water of life’ (Revelation 22:17)

Remember always, in good times and in times of trial, my love is complete, it never fails, it cannot be changed anymore than I can be moved from my plan to give you eternal life with me.
