INTRODUCTION I picked Kuwait because it seemed very

interesting. I also, picked Kuwait because my mom used to live in Kuwait. So, did my aunts. The languages in Kuwait are English and Arabic only. The population is 3000,400 people. Finally, the capital city is Kuwait City.

GEOGRAPHY Kuwait is located in the Middle East. It

is surrounded by Saudi Arabia which is in the south, Iraq which is in then north- west and Iran is in the south. Also, Qatar is in the east, the Red Sea which is in the south – west and don’t forget the Persian Gulf in the east. The three tallest mountains in Kuwait are Khashm Ghadayy, Al’Awjah, Jabal al Banaya, the Khashm Ghadayy is 361m. The Al’Awajah is 203m, and Jabal al Banaya is 33m.Kuwait is located at the north end of the Persian Gulf.

CLIMATE Kuwait has summers that are long,

hot, and dry. The temperature is 110 degrees F. and 43 degrees C. The winters are short, cool, and cold with rare sudden showers (rain) and dust storms. So, the temperature is 55 degrees F and 13 degrees C. The rainfalls are unpredictable so, 0.8 inches and 2 cm. 1 year can be as much as 13.8 inches and 35 cm. another year. Dust storms occur any time of the year, but the most common seasons are summer and spring.

CULTURE In Kuwait they eat a lot of fish, Arab food,

Turkish food, and Indian food. They also eat a lot of rice, bread and fruit. Breakfast is eaten early, if they have school or work at 8:00 am. they eat bread, honey, jam, dates, and drink tea and coffee. Depending on the season lunch and dinner are the most important meals of the day. The most popular sport in Kuwait are: squash, rugby, baseball, soccer, cricket and fishing. Also, figure skating, and ice hokey is included. Jewelry is the most common gift, it’s best to give it on a wedding, birthdays, and a birth of a child. Finally, jewelry is the designed with gold!

ECONOMY Oil is the most natural resource of Kuwait and oil is the best product. Also, it’s important because they have a lot of oil, so they trade it for money. Then they use the money to pay the government. Kuwaiti government manages the salary for the people of Kuwait. . Kuwait has a few natural resources besides oil. In 2007 Kuwait predicted that they have 101.5 billion or 8% of the worlds oil resevers.

HISTORY Something very interesting happened in

the history of Kuwait. That thing is between Kuwait and Iraq and Iraq captured Kuwait in 1990. Also, Iraq stole all there valuables in Kuwait including there food supplies. So, so many people left. Then Kuwait and Iraq started a war in 1991. After, the war the people of Kuwait fixed the damage and (Iraq lost).

INTERESTING FACTS A interesting fact is that the

government, and banking offices are located in Kuwait City. In the early 1700s a group of Arabs found Kuwait City. For more then 200 years the people in Kuwait lived on fishing and gathering pearls.

CONCLUSION Kuwait is a very interesting country. I

learned that the best product is oil, the winters are short mean while the summers are long. The culture, climate, and geography are very interesting, but my favorite is the CULTRE!! Finally, I wish can go there one day and I hope that day is near.
