Definition of Ellipse

● An Ellipse is a set of points in the plane whose sum of the distances from two fixed points is constant and bigger than the distances between them.

● The fixed points are the focus of the ellipse . The distance between the focuses is called focal length.

● By making C/A we find the eccentricity of the ellipse. The bigger is the eccentricity, more flattened is the ellipse, and the smaller is this value, more rounded the ellipse will be.

● In the world, there is some works of architecture that were based on the shape of an ellipse.

● And out of the world, in our system, the Solar System have elliptical shape, the planets revolve around the sun in these ellipses.
