What have you learned?

REFLECTIONReading is one of the most important subjects in school. The

ability to learn about all the other subjects in school depends on the ability to read. I hope to become a reading teacher.

My experience allowed me to work with students with a special need. The students have a learning disability where they have trouble comprehending text and they need guidance on how to build up their reading skills and strategies. I feel that one-on-one time is very important and also small group work is crucial for them. These children were able to get the help they need and deserve. I am glad I could be apart oftheir learning.
