Little Bird Tales is a really easy Web 2.0 application to use within your class for digital story telling. It is easy to create an account, even easier to add teachers and their students to your account. Little Bird Tales offers you true digital storytelling, with the ability to upload images, scan pictures, photos and even to add audio.

Fill out the required information

Creating the account is quick and easyTo add classes, go to Manage Classes

To start creating, click on Create a Tale

You can easily and quickly add Teachers and their classes

Once you have created a class, you can then add the students

Add students, click on save

Tales can be created using Kid Pix, Graphics from Paint, scanned artwork, even photos

Begin with your Tale Cover (frontpage), you can upload images or draw a picture in the Art Pad. Add a Tale Title, you can even record

your voice – click on Allow for the camera and recorder to work

You can either add text for each page, read and record your voice, or both

You can upload photos into the Art Pad and add text or artwork to them

If you happen to move on and forget to save your changes, Little Bird Tales will give you a reminder to save

At any time, you can view how your tale is going by clicking on the Preview button.

When finished, you can share your tale with others by adding their email address and a message

When you are previewing the tale, you can also copy the Embed Code

Copy this code

Paste (Ctrl V) the Embed Code into the source section of the blog, publication or wiki

Don’t forget to publish your work!
