03INTRODUCTION

• What exactly do we mean by creativity?

• In groups of 4 talk about a lesson where you feel you were practicing creative teaching techniques.

• Report your ideas to the whole group.

• There are many possible definitions and opinions.

• Is creativity easy to learn?

04Lesson Observation

04• Creative teaching is also about trusting and encouraging

the students own creative abilities.

• Students come to the class with a lot of background knowledge. Use it!

• There are many authentic materials that will work well in the classroom, from story books, Youtube clips, photographs, magazines and comic books.

• Students will respond well to them because they can

relate to them.
