Comic Relief is a British charity. It was started by Richard Curtis in 1985. It raises money for charities in Africa and the UK.

Red Nose Day happens on BBC1 every two years. It is organised by Comic Relief. They show comedy programmes and serious clips about projects in Africa and the UK that Comic Relief have helped. In 2009, it raised £60 million pounds.
