How to Make Your Blog More Personal

Login I’m going to use a simple skin because that will be easiest to understand. Login to

your account. Remember to go to your account by using the address: blogs.sekolahbuinbatu.org/yourname.php.

Finding a Skin Next, click on the Dashboard.

Then, click on Blog Skin

Choosing Your SkinLook for a skin that you like. If you want to add a photo of

your own at the top of your blog, pick a skin that has a photo at the top.

Modifying Your SkinThere is a folder of blog skins in

pictures/blogskins. Find the folder of the blog skin you want and copy it to your desktop.

Finding the Image Open the folder of your blogskin. It looks like this.

Click on the skinshot and you can see what the main image looks like. You will find it in the images folder.

Find the Fit You need to know the size of the image you want to change. Right click

the image and select properties. This image is 900 x 374. So I need to replace this image with the one that I want.

Replacing the Image After you create your own image with the same size, place it in the

blogskins folder.

It must have the same name as the image you are replacing.

Rename the folder with a name of your choice.

Give it to me for uploading.

You now have a blog skin with a new image.
