60 million years ago; Cappadocia region has

emerged over millions of years by spray of

soft layers of lava and ash of Erciyes, Mount

Hasan and Güllüdağ and erosion by wind

and rain.

Göreme National Park and Rock Sites and

Cappadocia is in Unesco Protection since

6/12/1985.
