Movie clips and mind maps

Students create a giant collaborative mind map from a movie transcript before they watch the movie clip. They add words and images along branches according to how they imagine the story to be.

Then they watch the movie clip and add more branches words and images to the mind map.

Display the mind map on the classroom wall.

Using this visual aid get students to tell the story of the movie. Online you can use collaborative mind mapping tools and display on class blog.
